No. Kalicertif generates a certified copy with a QR code. Your original document remains intact. The cryptographic hash is calculated from the original file.
Under French law, Article 1366 of the Civil Code recognizes electronic writing as evidence on the same basis as paper writing, provided the author is identifiable and the document is preserved under conditions guaranteeing its integrity. Kalicertif's blockchain anchoring meets both criteria: the cryptographic hash guarantees integrity, and the timestamping certifies the date of existence.
Note: Kalicertif does not provide a qualified electronic signature under the eIDAS regulation. For acts requiring a qualified signature (e.g., public procurement, notarial acts), a qualified trust service provider is still necessary. However, for proof of prior existence, content certification, and timestamping, the Kalicertif certificate constitutes admissible evidence before courts.
